Undoubtedly, the Greek reality is full of crises … sometimes big crises … sometimes small … Also full of daughters and sons … who are sometimes sensitive and good … sometimes … dark and ruthless.

As this variety, characterizes the concrete reality, the variety of the compositions included in this main record, were the source of inspiration that Miltiadis Chalkidis used lyrically and compositionally,wanting to capture these characteristics for the umpteenth time in his special way and in this album…

The album “Kriseis Kores Kai Yioi” is a Greek-language album of 8 songs with a rock aesthetic, which however does not exclude experimentation and sometimes subtly flirts with different musical styles,making the final sound result a special blend of music ,something that is used by Miltiadis Chalkidis in his previous albums as well.

As in most of his records, in addition to playing the guitar and performing the vocals, Miltiadis wrote the lyrics and the music, took over the entire production, orchestration, mixing, midi programming and mastering of the album..

Veronika Douka provided valuable help with the female vocals.

The entire production took place in the personal studio of Miltiadis Chalkidis “Miltos Marathon personal studio” in the city of Larissa.The design of the cover was done by Marios Boras, the photography by Konstantinos Mantziaris and the graphic work of the album by Antonis Dimakis.

Lyrically, Miltiadis wanted in this album to present his personal opinions, clearly… overtly… and to criticize, with humor but always with sensitivity to the core of the essence, everyday events,but also situations from earlier Hellenism times,certainly also on a global level,since the conditions and attitudes described in these songs are of a universal character and are found everywhere around the world!

The purpose of creating this album in conclusion, we would say that it is the hope and the cultivation of the mentality that whatever the circumstances and crises that we have to face… no matter how tempting the daughters who call you and want you on to the abyss and no matter how strong and powerful the sons who oppose us think they are… we must always resist…

Let us not forget that there are daughters and sons whose intentions and powers are infinitely stronger… and these daughters and sons are our hidden allies … obviously!

So “Kriseis Kores Kai Yioi” or translated as “Crisis daughters and sons” is dedicated to all of you …daughters and sons who are not afraid crises of any kind …
